Delete your Vyapari Book account.
This public page explains how a user can request deletion of their account and associated business data. No login is required to read these instructions.
How deletion works
Vyapari Book uses a multi-step deletion flow so the user can verify identity before any request is accepted.
Step 1: Start request
The user signs in and opens the Delete Account screen. The app asks for the account password and a deletion reason.
Step 2: OTP verification
An OTP is sent to the registered WhatsApp mobile number. The user enters the OTP to continue.
Step 3: Final warning
The user sees a clear warning: Delete account permanently? This action cannot be undone.
Step 4: Reason and confirmation
- No longer using
- Privacy concerns
- Created another account
- Other
The user must confirm that they understand their account and business data will be permanently deleted.
After submission
The account is marked for deletion and scheduled for permanent cleanup after the retention window. During that period, the request can be reviewed for compliance and abuse prevention.
Data affected
The deletion request is intended to cover the user account and owned business data associated with Vyapari Book. Legal, audit, or financial retention requirements may apply where required by law.
